I'm so excited to be part of the Kawaii Fair again!  SOOOO much kyootness! I've been working on some really sweet items, and a few of them will only be available at the Fair.  Once the Fair leaves town, so does the Kawaii! So be sure to get them while you can!

Carnival Days

The sounds of carnival games ring in the air, the scent of fried dough drifts through the air and makes Sunni's belly rumble for a sweet treat. She stuffs her giant bear under one arm and digs in her pockets for a few raggedy dollars.  She grins wide as she looks at all the tasty nomnoms in the window of the food truck, her tongue pokes between her lips as she slaps her money on the counter "Gimme a pretzel, some cotton candy 'n a candy apple!"

Once upon a Dream....

Guests mill about in the courtyard, anxiously awaiting the exciting new from the King and Queen.  Strange, dark clouds roll across the skies, bringing lightning and thunder. A gust of wind rushes across the courtyard, upsetting everyone. The drapes leading to the balcony above the courtyard flutter violently as the wind whips them to the side..  the air clears, and a sinister presence steps forward. She lets her eyes scan the room before speaking, her voice low and calm "What's this? A party? And I wasn't invited...." She glides elegantly toward the cradle in the center of the room, but is stopped by three short, plump fairies.

"You stay back from her, you vile creature!" utters the one in five shades of pink. Taken aback, the sorceress glares at her "I've only come to bestow a gift upon the child as well..." She raises her magic staff, a smile curls the corners of her mouth before letting her laughter overcome her "Let the child grow in beauty and grace, loved by all that come to know her. But as the clock strikes midnight on her sixteenth birthday, she shall die, having pricked her finger on a spindle"

Another wave of her wand brings a brilliant flash of lightning and as everyone shields their eyes, the evil sorceress disappears, leaving an acrid puff of smoke in her wake.

The latest hunt gift is called "Venoma".  Inspired by the Mistress of all Evil - Maleficent, the wicked sorceress from Sleeping Beauty. Be diabolically sexy with this embroidered outfit, that includes the top and pants layer, a collar and cape (separate attachments to mix and match your evil mood). Complete the look with horns, a raven, and of course a magic staff!

It does a kitteh good!

The little Neko frowns as she looks in her cupboard, finding only empty cans of tuna and discarded brownie wrappers on the shelves. She leaves the cupboard open as she turns to the fridge, her tummy grumbling and squeezing into a knot. She reaches in, grabbing and shaking several empty milk cartons before finding one that's still full.


She grabs a straw and wanders back to her cozy basket, sipping her little carton of milk and purrs as she settles in for a nap with a full tummy.

A Pirate's Life for Me

Cap'n Vanessa Darkblade wakes up alone and adrift on a rickety old raft. Only 5 barrels of rum keep her company..  and one of them is already empty.  She removes her hat and runs her fingers through her hair, memories of the epic battle with a rival pirate run through her mind. Nothing but the waves and some lonely rocks as far as the eye can see...  bits and pieces of her ship, The Bloody Cutlass, float past her as she yells to the sea "Ye land lubbin' scurvy bilgerats! Nay even a courtesy o' a blisterin' small arm nor bottle o' powder or shot!  I'll keel haul th' lot o'ye!"

She settles herself in for what is going to be a long ride at the mercy of the waves, checking her map and grabbing the empty mug at her feet. She ponders tapping into another barrel of rum...

Blog Sightings!

The Fashionista Hunt starts March 15, and I sent a copy of the prize to the bloggers for the hunt group. I get jazzed when I see my stuff on blogs, I love seeing the creativity people put into their posts even if they use a plain background because they add their own hair and other accessories, giving the gift their own little finishing touches.
